Rhoda Baxter

Rhoda Baxter

Rhoda writes contemporary romantic comedies about smart women and the men who love them. She especially likes it when they make her laugh.

As you've probably guessed from the way she spells things, Rhoda lives in the UK, in Yorkshire to be more specific. She is a British Sri-Lankan author who writes contemporary romances with a hint of British cynicism under the name Rhoda Baxter, and multi-cultural women’s fiction under the name Jeevani Charika.

She is a member of the UK Romantic Novelists' Association and the Society of Authors. Her books have been shortlisted for the RoNA awards (2017), Love Stories awards (2015) and the Joan Hessayon award (2013). She is also the co-author of How to write Romantic Comedy with Jane Lovering.
